Daniel Zachery

Daniel is currently a senior at Midland High School. He currently plays second base and bats and pitches right-handed. He was also a starter at cornerback on our Midland Football Team. He is also a returning First Team All District second baseman as he hit an unbelievable .442 for the season but an even better .485 in District. He also stole 10 bases in 2007. He has speed, an above average arm, a slick fielding glove and can swing the bat. He is quite a player! Zachery is a name that is well known in the Midland community. His Dad, Jerry, Uncle Terry, his brother, Jerry Jr., and cousin Clay all have played here.The field, as well as our 100% Bulldog Award, is even named after his grandfather, Galberson Zachery. With that type of bloodline and tradition, you know that you better be good and Daniel is very good. He is expected to lead Midland High to a District Championship. There is no doubt he will be playing at the next level next year. Way to go Daniel!
